APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR PARTICIPATION IN OCA PEOPLE 2022
We are happy to announce the news everyone’s been waiting for! We are now accepting applications to be part of OCA Magazine’s ‘OCA People’ edition in 2022!
OCA People is a special, annual issue of the British OCA Magazine, the purpose of which is to acquaint and present the creative people of Eurasia and their activities in the English-speaking space.
80 pages, 40 interviews with the help of which for two years in a row outstanding personalities are able to express themselves, attract a new audience and the attention of foreign media.
We invite each of you to take part in the voting and choose the 40 most prominent representatives of the creative industry. You can also nominate yourself if you have not participated in previous issues.
How is OCA People created?
STAGE 1: The list of nominees
From 1 December 2021 to 1 February 2022, the Guild’s executive committee received applications, in which members needed to indicate three nominees who, in their opinion, made a significant contribution to the development of their field of art. Members were able to nominate themselves.
The nominee must be an active member of the Guild (with a paid membership fee for 2022). Members featured in OCA People 2021, 2022 may nominate other members of the Guild, but the re-nomination of these participants (including those posted in the online version of the magazine) will not be considered by the editorial board.
STAGE 2: Selection of candidates
Up to 1 March 2022, the editorial board will select 40 people to include in the printed edition of OCA People, and no more than 10 additional people for the online version. They will need to briefly answer interview questions in English and provide their photos by 25 March. If this is not completed, they may be excluded from the list of nominees.
Of the 11 nominees who receive the most votes, one will be given a free place in the printed edition of OCA People, and 10 will receive free places in the online version of the magazine.
STAGE 3: Creation and publication of the magazine
OCA People is scheduled for printing on 1 May 2022. It will be published in May 2022.
Cost and terms of delivery
- For participation, please, fill the form.
- Only members of the Eurasian Creative Guild (London) can be published in the special issue of the magazine. Please, make sure your membership is active for 2022.
- Is not possible to participate in OCA People twice.
- The fee for publication in the OCA People project is £150. This includes:
- 10 copies of the magazine (it will be possible to order additional copies)
- Publication on the OCA Magazine website
Postage is paid for separately. The shipping cost is calculated by the number (weight) of magazines.
