Tynymbai Nurmaganbetov was born in 1945 in the former state farm «Birlik»  Yanykugansk district of Kyzylorda region. In 1968 he graduated from the philological faculty of Kyzylorda pedagogical Institute named after N. V. Gogol, and in 1980 the Higher literature courses at the Literary Institute named after M. Gorky in Moscow. The author of about ten books published in the Kazakh language. Has works in the genre of drama. At different times books of the author published in the all-Union publishers «Soviet writer», «Young guard», «Children’s literature». The writer’s works translated into Russian and some other languages. On the scenes of national theater with great success there are a number of productions of the author. The play «the Thieves» is one of the latest works of the author who first translated into Russian language.
