The Eurasian Creative Guild (London) held a presentation of books by children’s authors in Chisinau

On April 24, the Eurasian Creative Guild (London) held a presentation of books by children’s authors from Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan at the Kryange National Children’s Library in Chisinau for pupils of the Lyceum named after Academician Constantine Sibirsky.

At the meeting, the presentation of the book of the Azerbaijani writer Kamran Salayev “Elish and the wicker tale”, which was conducted by Timur Akhmedzhanov, a translator and illustrator of the book, was held. Timur read excerpts from the book in English and talked about how he worked with it.

The book of Kamran Salayev, as well as the books of Gulsifat Shahidi “Tales of Grandmother Gulsifat” and Maide Akan “Aisu and the magic bag” were donated to the library earlier, told about them by the writer, journalist and editor of books from the UK Stephen M. Bland.

Guests of the event also spoke – local famous authors of children’s books Claudia Portole, Julian Filip and Janos Turcanu, who shared their work and inspired children to new achievements.

The most interesting part of the event was the presentation of the works of schoolchildren – illustrators, artists, poets and writers.

We thank the National Children’s Library named after Ion Creanga and the Lyceum named after Academician Konstantin Sibirsky for a warm welcome and we hope for new meetings.

We wish all children to develop their talents and reach creative heights!
