WE ARE HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THE RELEASE OF OUR LONG-AWAITED ALMANAC “VOICES OF FRIENDS: POETRY AND ART” 2023!
Almanac “Voices of Friends: Poetry and Art” is a partner project of the Eurasian Creative Guild (London) and the prestigious British publishing house Hertfordshire Press (UK).
The first poetry almanac “Voices of Friends” was published in 2021 and due to its uniqueness created a sensation. This is a truly international poetry collection which contains poems by modern authors, not only members of the Eurasian Creative Guild (London), along with poems by the most famous poets like William Shakespeare or Walter Scott. But the uniqueness and main value of the collection is that poems are published not only in English but also origin languages – Russian, Kazakh, Belarusian, French etc.
Poetry is deeply ingrained in the human soul that it is a big part of every culture. And in this edition of “Voices of Friends: Poetry and Art” 2023 we decided to unite poetry and visual art as two essential parts of all cultures. Both poetry and art create one whole, and if you want to see the whole picture you need to look at them in conjunction.
So we are happy to present not only your favourite classical works and poems of contemporary authors, but also art works of modern artists.
Another special feature of the almanac “Voices of Friends” is its convenient structure of the daily planner which shows great works on each calendar day, but also includes a calendar where you can make notes in the margins at the end of each week.
English writer, translator and the member of the Guild, Jonathan Campion, the Hertfordshire Press team, the Poetry Expert Council and the Translation Expert Council of the Eurasian Creative Guild (London) worked on the collection.
We are excited to give contemporary poets and artists an opportunity to leave a mark on history and stand alongside great creators of past eras! The Almanac “Voices of Friends: Poetry and Art” 2023 will appear on the shelves of world famous libraries – The British Library, Cambridge and Oxford university’s libraries.
The Almanac is already AVAILABLE for pre-order! The price of the printed copy is £35. Active ECG (London) members get a 25% discount until 10th of February only.
You can get your copy by post or at a creative ECG meeting (dates and places will be announced later). If you want to receive your copy of Almanac at a meeting you MUST make a pre-order before 10th of February (via contact details below).
