On Tuesday, February 5th, Minsk National Center of Arts gathered more than fifty people including representatives of the Union of Writers of Belarus at the meeting of the Eurasian Creative Guild.
Marat Akhmedjanov, the vice-chairman of the Eurasian Creative Guild, personally held the presentation of the first Eurasian Film Festival in London, which will be held as part of the British Romford Film Festival at the period from May 22 to May 27, 2019.
The meeting began at 19:00 with greetings of guests, acquaintance with the presented literature, handshakes and smiles. Marat Akhmedjanov began the official part of the event with the presentation of the first Eurasian Film Festival, as well as an explanation about the activities of the Eurasian Creative Guild, and also planned projects in 2019. Guests of the event learned about the book series ECG, the international literary contest Open Eurasia, the Open Eurasian Literature Festival & Book Forum, the annual Literary Week in London, as well as about the main event of the evening, that gathered everyone in one room – ECG Film Festival in London.
ECG Film Festival is a platform for the development of cinematography in the Eurasian region. The purpose of the festival is to promote Eurasian cinema in the English-speaking space and to familiarize Eurasian representatives of the film industry with professionals from all over the world. To familiarize the world with the works that represent the connection of the Eurasian countries and nations. To show opportunities for collaboration, joint development, and growth.
The festival will accept such works as full-length films, short films, animated films, documentaries, book trailers, drafts of the script.
Also, it was noted that in March will start Open Eurasia competition, where a special award for publicists named in honor to the Lev Gumilyov in the amount of $3000 will be awarded for the best journalistic work from OCA Magazine. This year the contest for publicists will be held for the first time. The theme of the works will be “Developing a dialogue between the developing democracies of the countries of Central Asia and Eurasia and Great Britain”.

Certificates from the vice-chairman of the Guild of Marat Akhmedzhanov were given to Ilona Reeves (Karovaeva) and Anastasia Falkovich , as a representative of the corporate member of the guild BelBrand .
The creative part was remembered by the colorful and sometimes humorous performance of the theater “Lithosphere”, and after all, members had the opportunity to present their works by speaking to the public in the format of a free microphone. With the conclusion of the wonderful evening, Marat Akhmedzhanov emphasized the importance of uniting creative people from all over the world and building new connecting bridges.
