Wow, did you see that?
What a striking and successful commemoration of 2020 in London for the Eurasian Creative Guild! That’s because on January 27 in Rossotrudnichestvo – in the cultural heart of Great Britain, the first meeting of the Guild in London in 2020 took place!
Despite the rainy foggy albion, the meeting took place in an indescribably creative atmosphere, which began with a speech by the chairman of the Eurasian Creative Guild – John Farndon. Then the word passed to the former chairman of the Guild – David Parry. After that, Vice President Marat Akhmedzhanov made a review presentation about all the new projects of the Guild for artists, poets, filmmakers, writers, translators and many other creative directions that will be held in 2020.
The meeting continued with a truly colorful performance by a contemporary artist, art teacher and poet – Nadezhda Olefir representing a group of Russian professional artists – BART Croup in London.
The evening ended with Caroline Walton presentations of the book “My Cossack Family and Other Remarkable People in Russia and Ukraine” and a speech by Nurym Taibek. A significant moment was the presentation of official certificates and badges by John Farndon to the following members of the Guild of 2020: Natalie Bays, David Parry, Gulzada Hamra, Nurym Tybek, Aldona Groupas, Allison Cameron, Caroline Walton.
We express our gratitude to the Consul of the Embassy of Turkmenistan – Mr. Bayramgeldi and the Rossotrudnichestvo Administration who attended the meeting.
